Trunk or Treat
Monday, October 31
Volunteers are needed to help with our
annual Trunk or Treat outreach event,
Oct. 31st. You can help by decorating
your car trunk or truck bed, donating
candy, help with games or welcoming
our guests. There will be someone in the
front foyer with the sign-up sheet, after
the service.
State Missions Emphasis
(Viola Webb Missions Offering)
Henceforth, the offering will be known
as “Church Forward Missions
Offering.” Half of our giving will
remain in our local association (Smokey
Hill), the other half will go to support
mission work across the entire Kansas
and Nebraska area. Our goal this year is
$1500 - pray about your part in this.
Help Needed
We would like to have some help
unloading pumpkins from pickup-tobasement at 11:30 a.m. on this Friday.
These are for the Conversational
English pumpkin-carving activity.
George Wyatt.
A BIG Thank You.
Kudos to the hospitality crew who put
together our Annual Fish Fry yesterday,
it was delicious!
Humility is the exhibition of the
spirit of Jesus Christ and is the
touchstone of saintliness.

Humility is never gained by seeking
it. The more we pursue it the more
distant it becomes. To think we have
it is sure evidence that we don’t.
